● Uniform pressure application from all directions: As a forming process, isostatic pressing allows the workpiece to be subjected to uniform pressure from all directions during compaction. Unlike conventional steel-mold pressing, there is no friction between the workpiece and the mold walls, thereby enabling uniform forming.

● Superior isotropic uniformity: Due to the distinct material movement characteristics associated with isostatic pressing compared to conventional molding and consolidation techniques, experiments demonstrate that components produced via isostatic pressing exhibit a level of isotropic uniformity that is unattainable by other methods.

● Isostatically pressed parts have high density: The density of isostatically pressed parts is generally 5–10% higher than that of parts produced by conventional molding.

● Facilitates the handling of toxic materials: Toxic materials are sealed within a containment sheath during isostatic pressing, which is particularly beneficial for protecting the operator's health and prevents contamination of the equipment and the environment.

● Capable of producing parts with high length-to-diameter ratios: In traditional compression molding, mold wall friction causes a drop in density along the pressing direction—a phenomenon that becomes particularly pronounced when pressing longer parts.

Control method

Controlled by a PLC with a touchscreen interface, the system automatically manages equipment pressurization, depressurization, and the opening and closing of the processing chamber plug, enabling the flexible setting and recording of processing pressure and duration.
